About Tobi

I’m Tobi, an electrician, network engineer, hobby DJ and software architect. This site follows my personal tech journey through Linux, open source, IPv6 and hardware development.

What draws me to tech

I like understanding how things work and finding ways to make them more useful. That takes me from software and networks to firmware, electronics and DJ hardware.

Linux and open source give people room to learn, adapt and share. IPv6 matters to me because direct connectivity makes it easier to run your own services and connect devices on your own terms.

What matters to me

I want to help make technology more affordable. Sharing knowledge and making better use of existing hardware are part of that goal.

Ethics matter in the choices behind a project: who it serves, how it affects people and whether it gives them more control. I aim to be clear about what works, what is experimental and what still needs testing.

You’ll find my work in the projects and the lessons along the way on the blog. For questions or shared interests, get in touch.
